Is it really that hard for a woman to find a man?

Which is more difficult finding a man or finding a woman?  In the single female community finding a good man has always been a common problem, but at least it's not as hard as a man trying to find a woman? I believe their are much more opportunities for a woman to find the right mate than it is for a man.  Think about it a female can get a date at any given time all she has to do is choose and flirt.  A woman doesn't have to give up sex and she can get company with a free meal and a ride home.  Now some women just have difficulty finding a "good" man.  This is totally different when compared to the pathetic love life of a single guy.  A single man has it much harder out there when he is trying to find a woman. A guy has to campaign like a politician just to get a phone number.  In some cases he doesn't even care if she is even "good" or "bad".  It doesn't make a difference as long as she gives him the time of day.  There are countless opportunities for a woman to meet a guy. Guys chase women all the time.  It's really about woman choosing and not messing with too many different guys so they are not considered easy.  A guy rarely gets approached by woman, even if he is good looking.  As a matter of fact a guy can go years without having any relations with a woman unless he initiates conversation.  It is a merciless cycle for a guy to just find a woman before even thinking about choosing a good one.  Clubs are one of the ultimate social venues for hooking up with someone and women get into clubs for free and are more likely to get free drinks than a guy. Now lets be honest, a guy could be broke but usually has to have the image of having some kind of money to get attention from the ladies.  On the flip side a female can be broke as hell and I guarantee she will still get play.  No matter how you look at it, it is much more difficult for a single man to acquire just a date than it is for a woman to acquire a good man.

Health Segregation

Why do lower income class communities have such a drastic unequal amount of health conscious people compared to upper/middle class neighborhoods?  I'm sure we all realize the obvious difference in restaurants, and unavailable health food markets and gyms in the neighborhoods but there's still no excuse.  Just because Kennedy Fried chicken, Crown Chicken, Obama Chicken and all other cheap chicken spots flood our communities doesn't mean there isn't healthier options out there.  I work in lower Manhattan in various neighborhoods from highrise apt's on Park Ave to the projects in L.E.S.  It's not uncommon to see a housing project 2 blocks away from a  middle class high rise apt building in the city. When I work in the low income areas I see so many overweight or unhealthy looking people.  Mostly Hispanic and Black folks who are filling their bodies with starch, grease and fructose who don't exercise. What I do see which confuses me are white folks jogging from their upper class neighborhoods all around the projects and back to their condos. Like what the hell?  How come slim girl is running in 45 degree weather and fat girl is in the Chinese spot at 11:30am? Personally I think its embarrassing.  Now I wonder if there were a Trader Joes in the hood would we really shop there?  I know it could be expensive but people need to work around that. I don't see a disparity in BMW's and Louis Bags, people in the hood still find a way to buy that stuff but when it comes to eating right and exercising in the hood there's minimal effort. There are too many health risks out there stemming from bad diets that are affecting our people.  Many of us grew up on Chinese food and pizza from the corner shop all because its cheap.  I'm sick of seeing people settle for low grade food and feeding it to their kids. You never see middle class folks do that shit, their children usually eats cheerios, animal crackers or fruits out a zip-lock bag.  Personally I'm insulted of how saturated my community is with junk food and crap. Like we don't have a choice.  Ribs, Seafood, Pizza and Ice cream should not be sold in the same place. Eat more proper meals, rice and meat with veggies instead of fast food all the time. Next time you're hungry take a serious look at your neighborhood and weigh your options.

Jordan Savagery

As most of you know this past weekend the re-release the Jordan 11's Concord sneakers  came out and so did the savages.  It was not only a frenzy but it looked like Black Friday all over again minus the cheap deals.  Oh and some reported stabbings. Today Footlocker on 34th st apparently had more in stock. I mean this line looked like a dope fiend movement in 89 straight out of New Jack City.   If you waited on line for the 11's you are either in High school or you really need to re-evaluate your life.

For me It was another embarrassing moment for any person of color.  Why do I have to criticize people who are just a fan and enjoying a collectors item or a hobby you ask?  Because it's not a hobby, collectors edition, souvenir or even concert tickets.  Most of the consumers are minority morons who make up the majority just to floss for a month and then ruin the sneaker.  People are dying for a pair of $185.00 sneakers (no really) modeled after a man who has done nothing but enjoy profits from mostly teenagers.  Alot of you who are waking up 1am to arrive at the nearest footlocker  but don't really have that kind of money.  I do and I wouldn't be caught dead on that line even if I was a zombie.  Think about it you are waiting on line for a pair of shoes that 300 people in front of you will have also. How fresher will you be than the next person?  Don't get it twisted Jordans are a very cool sneakers but does it appreciate in value?  Didn't this same model come out before?  How do you know 5yrs from now it won't drop again?  How many places can you go where you can command legitimate respect with sneakers on?

 What really makes me want to dig up Dr. King's grave is when they show the ignorant youth
 down south or in the midwest  because they will pawn their grandma's earn for some J's.  You see them showing out on news cameras talking all country and ghetto.  People may think that Jordan consumers are all types of races.  This is true but what they don't understand is that as black people we can not afford to have anymore coonery and ignorance in our community. White folks can stand on that line but the stigma will not stick like it will for a stupid minority who has real problems.  Here's a list of people who need to sit there ass down instead of waiting in the freezing cold for Jordans

1)  Your a single baby mama.

2)  You made a deal with your baby mama to cop the 11's so your off the hook with child support in the 1st quarter of 2012.

3) You use a benefit card to feed your family.

4)  You have less than $100 in the bank.

5) Your a millennium baby and you think Michael Jordan is the CEO of Nike.

Talking About Rich People

Have you ever been in a debate about who makes the most money? No not you! I mean about wealthy celebrities like Byrdman, Jay-Z or  Puff Daddy.  Who's on top the Forbes list?  Who earned the most for the year?  These are people who are so dedicated and passionate about rich people business, that they haven't realized they are still broke.  Why are we so concerned about rich people who don't really give a shit about us?  It's like we are giving them free p.r.  We want to complain about the rich not paying enough taxes but yet we glorify them when they flossing on t.v.  What has Michael Jordan done for the inner city youths besides his expensive sneakers?  How many Billboards does Diddy have to put up to sell his Ciroc?  We can continue to talk about them but no one is talking about you.

Captain Save A Cheater

   The other day I was watching the tv show Cheaters (View Episode) and this suckah ass dude catches his wifey bashing another dude in the backseat of his car.  The next dude who looks like a taller version of the boyfriend got out and they start to beef.  Girlfriend is buck ass naked trying to calm her man down. They fighting like two girls.  He refuses to listen and boyfriend gets knocked out like Victor Ortiz!  WHAT??

  Guys please stop trying to fight the next dude if you find out your girl is playing you.   It really makes no sense. The average dude is going to bash your woman if she is making herself available to him. What are you going to ask the dude?  Why were you fucking my woman?  Isn't it obvious why?  Trust me the next dude doesn't have you in mind unless your name is Debo.  I am tired of hearing boyfriends calling a dude up asking why he is talking to his girl. You sound like a Bytch!  Ask your girl why she answers the damn phone? Guys today react ignorantly and think they are protecting there chick.  Then their captain save a cheater ass tries to reason with the girl to see what went wrong.  This is backwards.

  Ideally the person you should confront first is the cheater.  The only reason you should have to deal with the next dude is if he knows you or met you before.  (Ex:  Mr. Big whipping Fancy and  R. Kelly's ass in the Down-low video.) Otherwise stop acting like an upset female!  It's two things either the female ain't feeling you no more or you were soft with your game.  Women get in cat fights because they are emotional. You can't get mad at the next dude. He is only doing what your woman gave him permission to do. Charge her ass to the game!

Baby Mama Support

I was watching the Maury show and the topic was typical of all the other episodes.  It was about a woman who had an affair for 15yrs and is no longer sure if her husband is the father of their four children.  So the woman was in tears with the husband and kids awaiting Maury's results.  All kids turned out to be the guys children and the audience starts to applaud.  WHAT ARE THEY APPLAUDING FOR?  I don't understand, this chick just admitted to cheating and everybody gives her a pass.TV shows like Maury depict cheating women with a redeemable image. What  TV does is send a message psychologically that woman can do no wrong.  (Especially mothers)
  The women sometimes don't even know who the father is and Maury continues to console them backstage.  "Where they do that at?"   As soon as the guys walks out all you hear is booooo, then when he is exonerated its like "oh well, sorry I wasted your time. On to the next one".  Unbelievable!  Can you remember the last time a female celebrity got put on blast for cheating or neglecting her child and it tarnished her image?  Even during the Britney Spears breakdown the media continued to dog her husband who was the more responsible parent.    

I know there is a double standard in society with it being acceptable for men to sleep around, but no where is there a place for men to confess cheating and receive sympathy for it.  Men already have to pay child support and Baby Mama support.  That's punishment for spreading seeds all over but where is the accountability for females who promiscuously get pregnant with random guys?  There is no way a female can have a valid excuse for having several men who may have fathered their child.   The system is designed to take care of a woman no matter how many baby daddy's she has.  As long as they find a man to pay child support a baby mama has the ultimate free pass.  Strap up!
